A group of seemingly random strangers each receive an invitation to be on a Survivor-style reality show. They travel to the Australian outback, where they meet their Director and his sole technician. The Director is grim and mysterious and speaks cryptically about the group, and the next day, their “games” begin.

In true Ten Little Indians fashion, the strangers are picked off one by one, and while the survivors struggle to figure out why their adversary is trying to kill them, they must decide whether to fight for themselves or work as a team.

Boiling down to a tightly-wound, powerful conclusion, A MILLION takes its tense mainstream thriller and wraps it in a dark look at human nature.
