“Daddy, I’ve been a bad girl!”
Angela (Cheung) is a proud (and self-described) slut. She tracks her drunken liaisons with the equivalent of baseball cards, giving them pet names (Five-Second Guy, Mystery Man, Nice-But-Boring) because she cannot be bothered to remember their real names, if she ever asked for them in the first place.
Sexually fearless, or just ignorant? Angela’s himbo train gets derailed one morning when she realizes she is pregnant, and narrows down the potential fathers to five guys. With the counsel of gay buddy Gabriel (Cruz), she begins the daunting task of tracking down her possible donors and attempts to match up their DNA with the baby’s. Meanwhile, both Angela and Gabriel realize that they want something more reliable in their lives, and try to inject some meaning and happiness into their respective relationships.
Quentin Lee embraces the sexy, silly, feather-light side of sex-or-relationship politics. And with his young, attractive and likable cast, it’s hard not to get caught up in the romantic-comedy shenanigans that ensue.
The AFFD is pleased to present THE PEOPLE I’VE SLEPT WITH as its Closing Night showcase.
